If your mat becomes particularly grubby we recommend using a stiff bristled brush to help remove the dirt and then bang it against a wall or shake it outside.
We do not recommend using cleaning products on the coir material as they can affect the colour or cause damage to the fibres. If your mat becomes smelly, give the mat a good vacuum and sprinkle over a mixture of baking soda and cornstarch. Agitate this mixture with a stiff brush and then vacuum well and remove it after 30 minutes. This should help to remove any odours without damaging the mat.
