If you have an indoor/covered porch you can use both natural coir and synthetic matting depending on the style or look you would prefer.
If your porch is exposed to the elements or outdoors and the mat would be at risk of getting wet or in standing water, we would recommend using synthetic matting only as the natural coir will biodegrade if it is to get wet.
