What doormat is best for a mat well?
If you are looking for a coir doormat to fit within a mat well, we would recommend choosing our cut-to-size PVC backed matting.
This is available in different colours and 4 thicknesses.
The PVC backed matting can be cut to a specific size or shape with a sharp Stanley knife so you can always slightly oversize and trim the mat to fit your well if it is a slightly odd shape or not completely straight.
If your mat well is slightly deeper than the thicknesses we offer, we would recommend using some plyboard underneath the mat to raise the level slightly.
