What's the best way to cut the matting?
The best way to cut the matting is to use a sharp Stanley knife or utility knife. For the safest and easiest results, we recommend cutting from the reverse (back) side of the matting — this gives you better control and a cleaner cut.
Important: Only cut matting types that are designed for trimming, such as our PVC-backed coir, needle punch/ribbed matting, runners, and synthetic coir matting. Natural coir with a traditional woven or stitched backing should not be cut, as it may fray or become unstable.
Always use a straight edge to guide your cuts and take proper safety precautions while handling sharp tools.
